WCTV Wins 3 Awards From Alliance For Community Media’s Northeast Region Video Festival

WILMINGTON, MA — WCTV is proud to announce recent recognition received as part of the Alliance for Community Media Northeast Region Video Festival. This annual festival receives hundreds of entries from community media centers from all of New England and New York.

Three videos from Wilmington placed among the top tier:

  • 2nd Place: Politics and Issues – Candidates Night 2017 (Producer Shaun Neville and Director Adam Dusenberry)
  • 2nd Place: Student – Library Summer Bash (Producer Joey DeSario)
  • 3rd Place: Profile Talk Show – Where’s Wilmington (Producer and Host Lisa Kapala)

The station sends along its congratulations to all of those who were recognized and those who are part of the crew that make these shows possible.

WCTV’s mission is “Connecting our Community” and the goal each week is to serve as a platform for people in town who have something to say. The station also produces programs that are relevant to the local audience. While WCTV doesn’t work specifically to win awards, it’s certainly nice to see the content coming from Wilmington is rated as among the best in the region.
