Haunted Woods Returns To Wilmington On October 19, 20, 26 & 27

WILMINGTON, MA – It’s become a Wilmington Halloween season tradition. Haunted Woods is back for its fifth year.

Haunted Woods features nine scary attractions on the grounds of the Harnden Tavern (430 Salem Street, Wilmington).  Attractions include a 3D Glow/Clown Room; Abandoned Classroom; “Black Out” Room with maze in the dark; Bloody Butcher Shop; Cemetery/Junkyard; Crazy Scientists’ Lab; a Farmer’s Worst Nightmare; Funeral Home; and Insane Asylum.

The event runs from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Friday, October 19; Saturday, October 20; Friday, October 26; and Saturday, October 27.

Tickets cost $7 for students and $10 for adults. Parking is free and located behind the Harnden Tavern, off of Woburn Street. Proceeds from the haunt will benefit the Wilmington Town Museum at the Harnden Tavern for the upkeep of the historical property.

Haunted Woods is the brainchild of Stephen Valenti, owner of “Haunted Friends Production.”  Valenti is a 2013 WHS graduate and longtime Wilmington Community Television staffer.

The event utilizes dozen of volunteers, including many Wilmington teens, and receives support from the Wilmington Town Museum Curator, the Wilmington Historical Commission, and Wilmington Minutemen.
