OBITUARY: David J. “Dave” Maison, 67

WILMINGTON, MA — David J. “Dave” Maison, age 67, of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on September 7, 2018.

Dave was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who proudly served during the Vietnam War.

Dave was the beloved husband of Rebecca L. (Vergis) Maison, devoted father of Kate Ackermann & her husband Brian of Wilmington, Allyssa Maison-Mirza & her husband Aurangzeb of Nanuet, NY, Dannielle Maison of Wilmington and David J. Maison, Jr. & his fiancée Mallory Stover of Medway, loving “Papa” of Brian David, Malin Elise and Aydin Zain, cherished son of Mabel G. (Woodland) Maison of Ft. Myers, FL and the late Joe Maison, dear brother of Pamela Deveau, Paula Hoyt, Leo Maison all of New Hampshire, Patty DeYoung, Susan Wolgamuth both of Virginia and Joseph Maison of Wilmington. Dave is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Friday, September 14th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
