WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, September 5, 2018:
- Police conducted a well-being check of a female in a vehicle parked at Sonny’s Mobil on the Run, soliciting for money. Parties were from Florida and lost, looking for directions to Boston. (2:32am)
- Police located a hypodermic needle on the sidewalk of Middlesex Avenue and returned to station for destruction. (8:28am)
- Charles A. Buchanan (44, North Billerica) was issued a summons for Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Marked Lanes Violation. Buchanan drove into a pole on Shawsheen Avenue. Pole snapped at base. RMLD and Verizon notified. Vehicle towed. (10:48am)
- Jesse Merrill (39, Pepperell) was issued a summons for Possession of a Class A Drug. (12:07pm)
- Police checked on vehicle in the cemetery after hours. Party was looking for a dog missing from Federal Street. (10:00pm)
- A caller reported a deceased coyote on the sidewalk on Woburn Street. Animal Control Officer notified. (10:59pm)
