WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, September 2, 2018:
- During a check of Town Beach, police located an individual. Individual was released to the care of a relative and his vehicle will remain in the lot overnight. (12:35am)
- Police assisted the Fire Department with a mulch fire outside Market Basket. (2:26pm)
- An anonymous caller reported a male on a boat in Silver Lake was taking pictures of two girls on Town Beach. Police spoke with the male, who is a professional photographer taking school photos for two juveniles who are present with their parents. Situation checked OK. (5:55pm)
- A caller reported her vehicle was struck in the Savers parking lot. Party that struck her vehicle refused to provide their information and took off. Police notified Saugus Police to have driver contact the station. (6:19pm)
