The voters of Wilmington & Tewksbury will be voting for someone other than Rep Jim Miceli for the first time in some 44 years on Tuesday September 4. Jim was a close friend of mine and I, as you, will miss him.
No one will ever replace Jim Miceli. But we are fortunate that Jim hired David Robertson. David worked his way up to become Jim’s Chief of Staff.
David Robertson is a well educated, respected, hard working, compassionate and dedicate person. David is a person who listens and understands the issues facing Wilmington and Tewksbury. David learned from Jim how to maneuver through the maze of the State House. He learned that one of the most important parts of being a Representative was constituent services and how there is nothing more important than responding and help a person with a problem morning, noon or night. David became a master at helping those who needed help. David would represent the towns of Wilmington and Tewksbury at hearing on funding for programs. He would fight for a bill that Rep Miceli would file. David would hop on an issue that Rep Miceli needed taken care of, for David nothing was too small or large for him to handle and the task would be completed.
To David, there is no other place that he wants to be than Wilmington and Tewksbury. He has lived here all his life. He’s committed to the towns he grew up in. David is more compassionate about Wilmington and Tewksbury than ever before.
I met David about 10 years ago and he has become a very good friend, always considered him just a really good guy that you had to respect because of his compassion, intelligence the respect he showed for others. Seeing him dealing with issues in the towns was always very impressive and always with respect for the office.
As we prepare to vote on Tuesday September 4th, won’t you prefer to send someone to Boston that is 5 steps ahead and will walk into the State House knowing how to work his way through the maze, has the contacts in place and they know him and trust him? He will not need a learning curve, will not need to try to work his way through the State House maze and waste time figuring which end is up. I feel that’s a win-win for the people of Wilmington and Tewksbury. I ask you to support David Robertson on Tuesday September 4th. The Best thing that could happen to Wilmington and Tewksbury is electing David Robertson Representative for Wilmington and Tewksbury.
