WILMINGTON, MA — Interested in playing softball with some really great women? Fall registration for the Wilmington Women’s Softball League is now open.
Four teams are forming. Games will take place over 8 Sunday afternoons, from September 9 to November 4, with no game on October 7. Game times are TBD, but will take place after 2pm at Town Park. This is a laid-back league where players who have fun.
No previous softball experience is necessary. Players must be 18 years or older and reside in Wilmington OR — new rule this fall — an abutting town.
Registration for players is required. There is a small player fee to help cover the costs of equipment, umpires and USSSA league fees.
