WILMINGTON, MA – Sheila Duncan, founder of The Kennek Foundation, announced that the Fourth Annual Trouble The Dog Motorcycle Ride will take place on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Registration begins at 10am. The ride starts at 11am.
The ride will start and end at Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road, Wilmington).
The motorcycle ride, escorted by members of the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office, will benefit first responders and the children they serve.
The ride is sponsored by Marblehead Opticians.
Tickets are $20 per rider, $10 for passengers, and $20 for walk-ins. Tickets include coffee and donuts — courtesy of Dunkin’ Donuts of Marblehead — and a full lunch after the ride. There will be music, a cash bar, food, and great prizes.
Proceeds from the ride help to place Trouble The Dog plush dogs in police cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances to help first responders provide a source of comfort to children in the event of a fire, accident, or other emergency.
Trouble plush dogs has been proven to be a source of immediate tactile comfort that children need in times of crisis.
