WILMINGTON RECREATION REMINDERS: Over 35 Fall Basketball League Registration Now Open, Kids Art Class

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are recent announcements from the Wilmington Recreation Department:

Fall 35+ Basketball League

Registration is open for the Fall 35+ Basketball League. The league will run on Wednesday evenings, September 12 – November 7 (no 10/31). The cost is $55.00 per player ($60.00 for non-residents). New or returning players without the appropriate shirt for the 35+ league must purchase a new one through the Recreation Dept. for $22.00. To register, visit http://www.wilmingtonma.gov/recreation, call 978-658-4270, or stop by Town Hall Room 8, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Hope to see you on the courts!

Children’s Art Class

Celebrate summer with a seaside themed art class! Decorate your bedroom or give them as unique gifts! “Sea Creatures” is an art class for children entering Grades 3 – 6 who will create 2 projects: a seahorse and a turtle. Using stencils, paint and sealants on a prepared piece of wood, students will make these pictures that are just too cute for words. This class will be held on Tuesday, August 21 from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. Cost is $40.
