LOWELL, MA — State Rep candidate Pina Prinzivalli (R-Tewksbury) was a featured speaker at last week’s GOP Rally at the Athenian Corner restaurant in Lowell, hosted by U.S. Veteran and 1st Middlesex State Senate candidate John MacDonald.
“What differs me from [my competitors] is I’m the only candidate to put the taxpayers first,” Prinzivalli told the crowd. “I went right to work by collecting signatures for a ballot question to lower the sales tax back to 5% and for a permanent sales tax free weekend. I was also collecting signatures for stopping the use of tax payer monies for abortion. And I’m the only candidate to have signed the tax payer’s protection pledge.”
“I’ve also been the only candidate with a bold voice about opposing becoming a santucarcy city or state,” continued Prinzivalli, who works a bank branch manager in Lowell. “I promise you, as the next representative of the 19th Middlesex district, I will continue to be a bold, strong voice for all the taxpayers of the Commonwelath of Massachusetts.”
Prinzivalli was introduced by MacDonald.
“[Pina and I] both want to control state spending and taxes. We want government form. We want to fight for our veterans and citizens in need,” said MacDonald. “We’re against spending $2 billion a year in Massachusetts for illegal alien benefits obtained illegally. We both spoke out against the $18 million pay raise, per year, that our state legislators decided to give themselves. And we’re both fighters.”
Prinzivalli shared the stage with several prominent Massachusetts GOP candidates, including U.S. Senate candidate and State Rep. Geoff Diehl and U.S. House candidate Rick Green for Congress.
