POLICE LOG for July 30: OUI Arrest; Summons Issued; Hit & Run; Trains STILL Blocking Middlesex Ave

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, July 30, 2018:

  • Nicholas Poirier (21, Belmont) was arrested for OUI Liquor. (3:12am)
  • Justin Paul Chenevert (27, Burlington) was issued a summons for Failure To Stop/Yield and Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended Or Revoked License. (6:45am)
  • A caller reported that while turning onto Main Street, she was sideswipped by a pickup truck that left the scene. (7:06am)
  • Police followed up with a Chestnut Street resident who was having issues with their horses getting lose. Owner agreed to install more wood around the gate. (7:37am)
  • Train #1051 was blocking Middlesex Avenue/Route 62 at North Wilmington station. (9:35am)
  • Staff reported a juvenile walked away from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. Child was entered into NCIC. (2:59pm)
