WILMINGTON, MA — Keolis, the entity that owns and operates the MBTA’s commuter rail system, is planning to reconstruct the Haverhill line rail crossing in the vicinity of 209 Salem Street this coming Friday night July 27th. As such, Salem Street will be closed at the crossing to through traffic starting at 9pm on Friday, July 27th. The closure is expected to last into Saturday afternoon.
As they have done in the past, Keolis will be setting up detour signage and road closed signage during the work. Through traffic during this short time frame will be detoured around Salem Street using Cunningham Street. Please obey the directives of police details and warning signs during the operation.
