NEWS FROM THE TOWN NURSE: How To Request A Free Mosquito Spraying

WILMINGTON, MA — Below is information from the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project:

Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project personnel will be in Wilmington to respond to residents’ concerns about mosquitoes in their area on August 1, August 2, August 8, August 9, August 15, August 16, August 22, August 23, August 29, and August 30. Dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions, mosquito populations, mosquito virus activity and/or special event spraying.

Requests for service may be recorded by calling the CMMCP office at 508-393-3055 between 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, or visiting www.cmmcp.org and clicking on “Service Request.” Results of these requests may initiate an application of mosquito insecticides to defined, site-specific areas of town. Such an application may be accomplished by using hand or truck mounted equipment, depending on the extent of the application.
