WILMINGTON, MA — Below are some reminders from the Wilmington Recreation Department:
Thunder Cat Sports Jam
Do your children never seem to get enough sports? The Thundercat ‘Sports Jam’ programs for children 4 – 10 are returning to Wilmington from July 30 – August 3 for more faced-paced action! Register your child now to join in the fun!
In the ‘Sports Jam’ program, your child (age 7 -10) will play, play, and play some more…it’s the ultimate multi-sport program! Featured games will be basketball, soccer, volleyball, dodgeball, shark attack and many more! Half-day option meets from 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. and costs $140; Full-day option meets from 8:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. and costs $170.
Children age 4 – 6 are invited to play in the ‘Kiddie Cat Jam’ program which features the same great games as ‘Sports Jam’ but is designed for the younger athlete. These children will meet from 8:45 – 11:45 a.m. and costs $140.
Keep that summer fun going with some outdoor tennis lessons! Our Morning Tennis Clinics return Monday – Friday, July 23 – 27 and will be held at the Boutwell School Tennis Courts (rain location is inside the gym at the West Intermediate). Bring a racket if you have one, however equipment is provided if needed. Cost is $60.00.
Children age 4 – 5 will meet from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Children age 6 – 8 will meet from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Children age 9 – 12 will meet from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
