POLICE LOG for July 8: Police Issues Summons; Door-To-Door Solicitor Complaints; Car Fire; License Plate Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, July 8, 2018:

• A license plate was reported lost or stolen. Police entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). (4:28pm)
• Police responded to a car fire on Brattle Street. Police used a fire extinguisher. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. (6:33pm)
• A Burlington Avenue caller reported people going door-to-door claiming to be from a paving company. Police were unable to locate. (8:58pm)
• Alexis J. Gonzalez (26, Charlestown) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended Or Revolved License and Failure To Wear A Seatbelt. (10:36pm)
