WOBURN, MA — Team members from LGA (LitmanGerson Associates) in Woburn volunteered at the May Institute in Wilmington and the Bread and Roses in Lawrence on June 15 as part of the 8th Annual Massachusetts Society of CPAs Day of Service, an event that encourages MSCPA members to get involved in their community through volunteerism projects.
The group assisted in various tasks including yard maintenance, cleaning up the parking lot, sorting food, cleaning tables, counters and equipment, organizing various supplies such as curriculum assessment materials and reading and math programs.
Team members from DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP in Woburn volunteered at the Community Giving Tree, The Wish Project, Cradles to Crayons and held an office event for the Lowell Humane Society on June 15.
The group helped sort through donations, clean up after big fundraising events and created cat/dog toys to be donated.
Over 550 MSCPA members participated in volunteer activities across the state.
