WILMINGTON, MA — It was a heav’nly day indeed for the grand re-opening of Heav’nly Donuts at 579 Main Street on Tuesday. Shining sun, Romeo from Kiss 108 spinning the hits, face painted happy kids, a dancing donut mascot, and free coffee and baked goods to all made it the perfect celebration. In addition to the many area residents and businesses owners, the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and State & Town officials were on hand to perform the official ribbon cutting.
Under new management, the store is now proudly owned and operated by Effie and Chris Kombouras & Jimmy and Cori Saragas.
Effie and Jimmy have years of experience as their parents, George & Elaine Saragas opened the first ever Heav’nly Donuts in Methuen over 40 years ago. For the past ten years, the duo couples have continued to grow the business and now own and operate multiple locations in Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire. The couples are happy to be back in town and pride themselves on delicious bakery products made from scratch, 20 flavors of brewed (no syrup) coffee, and fresh eggs.
