WCTV Hands Out $6,000 In Scholarships To 6 Graduating Seniors (with VIDEO)

WILMINGTON, MA — Congratulations to the Class of 2018!

More than $150,000 was awarded to graduating Wilmington High School seniors at this year’s Scholarship Night. And as usual, WCTV was among the presenters.

This year, WCTV handed out $6,000 in scholarship money, selecting 6 students from the pool of applicants; five from Wilmington High School and one from Shawsheen Tech.  Scholarships are awarded by the WCTV Board of Directors and special attention is given to applicants who have either participated with WCTV or in multimedia during their time in high school, or who are pursuing a communications-related degree.

This year’s WCTV scholarship recipients are:

  • Anna Pietropaolo (WHS)
  • Jill Roche (WHS)
  • Britney Mallebranche (WHS)
  • Rebecca Gullotto (Shawsheen Tech)
  • Kendia Nerestant (WHS)
  • Olivia Cigna (WHS)

Congrats to this year’s winners and good luck in college next fall.  WCTV scholarships are available to all Wilmington residents.  Look for the Class of 2019 application next January!
