WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, May 19, 2018:
- A car struck a pole on Middlesex Avenue. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. Driver, a juvenile, was given a written warning for sending and receiving electronic messages. RMLD and Verizon notified. (12:27am)
- Police assisted with a vehicle lockout with a dog inside on Nelson Way. (10:05am)
- A new homeowner on Oakdale Road located 3 rounds of ammunition in house. Homeowner brought to station for disposal. (11:45am)
- A Milestone Group Home staff member reported a female juvenile just walked away from their program. (12:55pm)
- Nicholas Adam Brown, of Wilmington, was arrested for OUI Liquor; Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle; Possession Of Open Container Of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle; and Speeding. Crash took place on King Street. Two vehicles towed. Damage done to retaining wall and landscaping to a home. (2:16pm)
- State Police asked Wilmington Police for assistance trying to catch a loose dog on the highway ramp. A caller found the dog and brought it to the vet to see if it was microchipped. (It was not.) Animal Control Officer then took possession and brought to Andover Animal Hospital. (3:25pm)
- A Dollar Tree manager reported an unruly customer who was upset she could not get a refund. (4:44pm)
- Alex S. Condell, of Wilmington, was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle with a Suspended or Revoked License; Possession of a Class B Drug; and Possession of Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle. (8:50pm)
