WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a round-up of what’s going on in Wilmington on Saturday, May 19, 2018:

Happening Today:

Weather: Rain, mainly after 11am. Patchy fog after 2pm. High near 57. East wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

At Wilmington Public Schools: The Wilmington High School’s Lamplighters’ Drama Guild presents “The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy!” You have three opportunities to catch this family-friendly show. ‘The Addams Family” will run on Friday, May 18 at 7pm; Saturday, May 19 at 1pm; and Saturday, May 19 at 7pm in the Wilmington High School Auditorium. Tickets to this popular musical costs $10 for students & senior citizens and $15 for adults. Tickets are available online at http://www.WilmingtonCATS.org and will be sold at the door. In The Community: State Representative candidate Pina Prinzivalli (R-Tewksbury) is holding a Meet & Greet event from 10am to noon at Panera Bread (228 Main Street) in Wilmington. Voters are encouraged to “swing by, say hello, and learn more about Pina and her campaign.” Please note this is NOT a fundraiser. Lawn signs and bumper stickers will be available.

In The Community:  Sunday’s Wilmington Pan Mass Challenge Kids Ride is holding pre-registration and packet pick up from 9am to 11am at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center.

In The Community: The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library.

In The Community: The Wilmington Food Pantry (142 Chestnut Street) is open from 10am to noon for food donation drop-offs. Learn which food items the Pantry is most in need of HERE.

Reminder: A large portion of the MBTA Commuter Rail’s Lowell Line is closed for repairs. Free shuttle bus service is being provided. Learn more HERE.
