WHS SOFTBALL: Wildcats Get Back To Winning Ways With Blowout Of Stoneham

WILMINGTON, MA — After a four game skid, the Wilmington High School Varsity Softball team (8-7) defeated Stoneham by a score of 14-2 on Wednesday, May 16 in Stoneham.

Wednesday’s victory saw the return of timely hitting, great pitching, and good defense.

The Wildcats pounded out hits, including four doubles, and blew the game wide open in the first inning after scoring six runs.

Adele Burton led the offense going 2-3 with 4 RBI.  Aliyah Tang also went 2-3 with 3 RBI.

Pitcher Ally Moran allowed just one hit while striking out nine batters. Moran also produced at the plate, going 2-3 with 2 RBI.
