HERNANDO, FL — Donald J. Vokey, of Hernando, Florida, died on May 4, 2018.
Born January 15, 1933 in Everett, MA to the late Walter and Lydia (Neil) Vokey, he lived in Massachusetts until moving from Wilmington in 1997. Don was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Hernando United Methodist Church. He was a monotype keyboard operator, Pres., VG Composition Co. Boston, and later type design manager, Photon, Inc., Wilmington MA. He retired from Raytheon in 1997.
Survivors include his sons, Wayne (Mary) of Loudon N.H., Craig (Theresa) of Hernando, FL. and a brother, George of Wakefield, N.H. five grandchildren Daniel, Matthew, Kevin, Candice, Colleen: nine great- grandchildren, Akaila, Devin, Alanna, K-Lynn, Jacob, Ava, Alexa, Jack, and Brendon. Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Charles and his wife, Beverly.

There will be a Celebration of Life service for Donald Vokey at the Hernando United Methodist Church 2125 East Norvell Bryant Hwy, Hernando, Fl. 34442 on June 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
