WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a round-up of what’s going on in Wilmington on Thursday, May 17, 2018:

Happening Today:

Weather: Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Calm wind.

In The Community: The Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Red Cross blood drive from 2pm to 7pm. Drop-ins welcome.

In The Community: The Abundant Life Christian School’s Drama Club presents “Treasure Island” this  Thursday, May 17 at 7pm and Friday, May 18 at 7pm at the school (173 Church Street). Tickets cost just $6 and can be purchased at the door.

In The Community: In Windsor Place’s Activity Room at 11am, Jack Craig performs. Sing! The Greatest Songs are programs that contain some of the most popular songs of the 20th century. Each program contains around thirty songs to sing, and Jack provides anecdotal information that recalls the best years of American song-writing. All of the songs in this program were written from 1920 –1924. Free and Open To All.

In The Community: Wilmington’s Michael Gautreau is participating in the Haymakers For Hope Rock N’ Rumble at 7:30pm in the House of Blues Boston. Read more HERE.

In The Community: Do you like to sing? Do you enjoy performing? Come join the Merrimack Valley Chorus at one of its regular weekly rehearsals. You just might discover a passion for a cappella singing, and you’ll also make some great new friends! Open rehearsals are every Thursday at 7pm at the Wilmington Arts Center (219 Middlesex Avenue).

At Wilmington Public Schools: The Wilmington SEPAC is holding its monthly meeting at 6:30pm in the WHS Library. Read the agenda HERE.

Live Music: Larry Gilbert performs at Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) beginning at 6pm. … Ricky Lauria performs at Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) at 8pm.
