WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, May 10, 2018:
- Animal Control Officer retrieved an injured bird on Main Street and brought it to a rehab facility. (7:48am)
- Police received notice from Franklin County Sheriff’s Office that fugitive Shane Denn was in custody after a traffic stop. Wilmington Police had an active arrest warrant out on Denn. (10:07am)
- A walk-in party reported someone took their clothing off of their laundry line from their Main Street yard. (11:14am)
- Fire Department responded to mulch fire near Dollar Trees store. Employees used fire extinguisher. (1:47pm)
- Action Ambulance involved in a 3-vehicle crash on Main Street. No injuries noted. One vehicle towed. (2:21pm)
- Employee reported a trailer was stolen, possibly sometime overnight, from Commercial Couriers on Jewel Drive. (6:02pm)
- A school bus got stuck in the mud at Town Park (Aprile Field) following a WHS softball game. (8:37pm)
- Police arrested Kevin Callery (41, Billerica) on a warrant. Police were called after MBTA reported Callery and another male were fighting on the train. (9:08pm)
