WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Fourth of July Committee is excited to announce the dates for our 38th Annual Celebration: Friday, June 29th through Monday, July 2nd. The Celebration is a culmination of community, patriotic pride and fun for all ages. It is a Wilmington tradition and testament to the town’s rich roots in community and volunteerism.
Volunteers contribute to the event’s success and we are now seeking volunteers for the 2018 Celebration. Since returning to the Town Common and Swain School parking lot, the Committee has a greater need for volunteers to assist in event operations. Volunteers will be staged throughout the event area, mainly in designated parking areas with fellow volunteers and Committee members to direct parkers. The Committee looking for those who would be willing to give up an hour or two of their free time to help create a memorable and successful celebration for all ages.
