WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a round-up of what’s going on in Wilmington on Sunday, May 6, 2018:
Weather: A chance of showers before 1pm, then a chance of showers after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 64. Calm wind becoming east around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Traffic Advisory: The Wilmington Department of Public Works will be grinding and resurfacing Ballardvale Street (from 220 Ballardvale Street, just after Target, to Research Drive), starting TONIGHT at 5pm. During grinding and paving operations, Ballardvale Street will be closed to through traffic in the northbound direction. For the remainder of the week, milling and paving is planned to be conducted during the night-time hours, to minimize traffic impacts.
Town Museum: The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is holding its Monthly Open House from 2pm to 4pm. Come get a free tour of the historic Harnden Tavern.
