TEWKSBURY, MA — Erin Buckley is excited to announce the official launch of her campaign as the Republican candidate for State Representative in the 19th Middlesex District. After quickly receiving the necessary number of verified signatures, Ms. Buckley was placed onto the ballot as of May 1st, finding herself an official candidate before the deadline for submitting signatures had even been reached.
As a member of the Finance Committee in Tewksbury, as well as serving on Tewksbury’s Local Housing Partnership (LHP), Erin is more than well-versed in the issues faced by the voters of the 19th, both on a municipal level but also as part of our shared Commonwealth.
Ms. Buckley recently resigned her position as Finance Director for the Rick Green for Congress campaign, in order to campaign in Tewksbury and Wilmington full-time. Prior to her position as Finance Director, Erin served as Legislative Aide to Representative Will Crocker (2nd Barnstable), who himself scored a powerful Republican victory in 2016. In her position as Aide on Beacon Hill, Erin learned the challenging in-and-outs of State House politics but also learned of her passion for constituent work. It is that passion for helping those in need traverse through the unfortunate bureaucracy on Beacon Hill that has driven Erin to seek election as State Representative.
We have a wide-open future ahead of us in the 19th – and we have many issues at present; the decision for who will represent Tewksbury and Wilmington on Beacon Hill has never been more vital.
Thank you and we look forward to meeting everyone on the campaign trail!
