TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Heavy Traffic Expected Due To Rep. Jim Miceli’s Wake (Thursday) & Funeral (Friday)

WILMINGTON, MA — The wake and funeral services for Representative James Miceli are scheduled for Thursday, April 26th and Friday, April 27th.

Due to the anticipated large increase in the volume of traffic, the town is encouraging residents and commuters are  to seek alternate routes on Thursday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m., and Friday morning 9:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m.  Avoid Middlesex Avenue, Route 62, Glen Road, Wildwood Street, and Church Street.

The wake will be held at Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Avenue) and funeral at St. Thomas Church (126 Middlesex Avenue).

The library notes that it will have limited parking available during the wake. Additional parking is available at the Wilmington High School and Town Common parking lots.
