LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Fennelly Will Seek Input From Parents Before Making Key Decisions, Use Skills From His Time At State House

Dear Editor,

I am writing to endorse Jesse Fennelly for School Committee.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Jesse over the past few years, and I can think of no one more deserving of a seat on the school committee. His interest and dedication to the continued betterment of our town is admirable, and I feel strongly he should be given a chance to serve on the School Committee.

Jesse is the proud father of two young boys who is committed to doing everything and anything he can to improve our schools. I know he will be a strong, vocal advocate on our behalf. Using his experience working at the State House, Jesse will seek input from parents and the PACs before making important decisions. I believe this approach will serve him well as he advocates on behalf of the parents in Wilmington.

I’ve seen firsthand Jesse’s dedication to our community and to making Wilmington thrive and flourish. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of WCTV and is a member of the town Historic Commission, among others. In speaking with him, I know he will bring the same drive, passion, dedication and enthusiasm to the school committee.

Jesse understands that great schools are a sign of a great community. I’m sure he will work tirelessly to ensure the Wilmington School Department continues to be an innovative, progressive learning environment for all students. Jesse has earned my vote, I hope you will consider joining me in casting a ballot for Jesse Fennelly for Wilmington School Committee on April 28.
