WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School Varsity Softball team (3-2) suffered its second loss the season, falling to Burlington by a score of 8-5 on Monday, April 23 at Marvin Field in Burlington.
Wilmington’s three-game winning streak came to an end. The Wildcats committed 6 errors and several mental lapses in the contest.
“We can not give good teams extra outs and expect to win,” said coach Audrey Cabral.
Kayla Bourrell and Aliyah Tang both went 2-4. Ally Moran, Ryan Bailey and Aliyah Tang each had an RBI.
