LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Eaton Will Move The Town In The Best Direction

Dear Editor,

I would like to let you know why on April 28th, I will be voting for Jonathan Eaton for a seat on the Board of Selectmen.  I have known Jonathan, through his membership in the Wilmington Rotary for the past 7 years.  I have been impressed by his performance through his involvement in many of the clubs projects.  Jonathan has been actively involved in the Polar Plunge, which helps fund the Rotary International commitment to erase Polio, a participant and organizer in the Community Ice Bucket Challenge to raise funds to help find a cure for ALS, his participation in the Rotary Trivia Contest, which raises funds for Rotary Scholarships for Wilmington Seniors and his work as an auctioneer at the clubs annual Auction. Further Jonathan has been an active, valuable member of the Finance Committee and previously served on the Library Committee.  I am sure that as a member of the Board of Selectmen, Jonathan will continue his commitment to the tasks at hand and actively involve himself in his dedication towards what needs to be done.

Jonathan, who grew up in town, decided, along with his wife, Sarah and daughter, Hadley, to recently purchase their first home in Wilmington, now has a vested interest in the future of the town.  I am sure that with his demonstrated performance and his commitment in seeking the very best direction for our town, lead me to be extremely confident in Jonathan’s ability to become an outstanding Selectman.

I ask that you will join with me in making this positive decision in voting for Jonathan Eaton, Selectman and assure the very best for our town’s direction.

Sincerely,

Michael Burns
