LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Selectman Greg Bendel Endorses Jonathan Eaton

Dear Editor:

I am pleased to write in support of Jonathan Eaton for the Wilmington Board of Selectmen. As someone who grew-up down the street from Jonathan, I always have known him to be honest, respectful and extremely intelligent.

I have been impressed with Jonathan’s volunteerism—whether as a member of the Library Strategic Planning Committee, the Wilmington Rotary Club, or the town’s Finance Committee.

During his 6-year tenure on the Finance Committee, Jonathan has proven an excellent listener and a thoughtful contributor. It is obvious that he does his homework on every issue and considers all the facts before making decisions. Most importantly, he has clearly demonstrated the ability to work collegially to get things done for our community.

Admittedly, Jonathan and I do not agree on every issue, but we do agree that substantive, respectful debate can be benefit the community we both love. I am confident that every time Jonathan is faced with a decision on the board, he will do what he believes is best for our entire community.

I respectfully ask you to join me in voting Jonathan Eaton our newest volunteer member of the Wilmington Board of Selectmen.

Thank you,

Greg Bendel
