LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Resident Endorses Eaton After Watching Him Grow Up In Town

Dear Editor,

I am very pleased to write this letter of support for Jonathan Eaton, endorsing him as the most worthy candidate for the open seat on the Board of Selectmen. I have known Jonathan for 30 years, since he was a young boy growing up in our neighborhood alongside my own children. I am proud of the mature, accomplished young man he is today whether he is practicing as an attorney, being a wonderful husband to Sarah, or daddy to Hadley.

His commitment to the town he grew up in is evidenced by a few deliberate decisions on his part. He chose to purchase a home in Wilmington, and raise his family here. He has served in a volunteer capacity as a member of the Finance Committee since 2012. He has been actively involved in the Rotary Club since 2012, served as its President from June 2016-June 2017, and continued the ice bucket challenge for ALS fundraiser. He also served on the Library Strategic Planning Committee.

His composure, objectivity in considering all sides of an issue, ability to respectfully disagree with colleagues when necessary, and strong moral character, are all qualities that would serve him well as our newest Selectman. I hope you join me on election day April 28th, and cast your vote for Jonathan Eaton.

Sincerely,
Maureen K. Taylor
