HOT OFF THE PRESS: First Look At 2018-2019 Wilmington School Calendar

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee approved the 2018-2019 school calendar at Wednesday night’s meeting.

Some key points include:

  • First day of school for Grades 1-12 is Tuesday, August 28
  • First day of school for Kindergarten is Tuesday, September 4
  • School will be closed on Election Day (Tuesday, November 6) for a Professional Development Day.
  • There will be an Early Dismissal on Friday, December 21, leading into Winter Vacation.
  • Good Friday falls during April vacation week.
  • Last day of school is Wednesday, June 18, assuming all 5 built-in snow days are used. That day will have an early dismissal.
