WILMINGTON, MA — Longtime local realtor Dave O’Neil has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR). GBAR represents over 9,500 real estate professionals throughout the Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts area and is one of the local boards of the National Association of REALTORS — the largest trade association in America.
GBAR provides professional development courses, standard forms, legal reports and updates, brokerage counseling, legislative and regulatory representation, ethics, mediation and arbitration services, as well as recognition awards. REALTORS subscribe to the strict Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS.
O’Neil currently serves on the Professional Standards (Ethics) Committee of GBAR and previously served as the President and Treasurer of the Eastern Middlesex Association of Realtors and their MLS. He also served on the Board of Directors of MLSPIN, the state-wide Multiple Listing Service. In addition, he also serves as Vice President of the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce.
“I truly appreciate the honor of being named to the BGAR Board,” stated O’Neil. “Being a leader in the industry allows me to be among the first to learn of new real estate tools and trends and enables me to share with my buyers and sellers.”
Actively listing and selling local properties since 1978, as principal broker of both Century 21 Spindler & O’Neil in North Reading and Century 21 Starwood in Wilmington, he recently merged the firm with Century 21 North Shore. The firm is currently Number 1 Century 21 Company in New England, and ranks in the Top 10 in the U.S. and 19th globally.
Anxious to assist new and old friends alike, realtor Dave O’Neil can be reached on his cell at 617-803-1359 or by email at David.ONeil[at]Century21.com.
