POLICE LOG for December 8: Car Strikes Man; Dirt Bike At Yentile Farm; Road Rage Incident

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, December 8, 2017:

  • Police responded to a dump truck spilling concrete on the road at Middlesex Avenue and Wildwood Street. Truck belonged to B&C Corporation, working on Beacon Street. Police issued a citation for unsecured load and notified DPW. (8:36am)
  • A tractor trailer unit was attempting to truck around on Deming Way and got caught on a wire. Comcast Tech was able to remove the wire, which belonged to Verizon. Police notified Verizon. (10:06am)
  • Police responded to a neighbor dispute over leaf blowing on Lt. Buck Drive and Shawsheen Avenue. (12:44pm)
  • School bus driver reported a white Honda passed the bus while its stop sign was out on Woburn Street. Police were unable to locate vehicle. (2:06pm)
  • A caller reported a male driving a red jeep cut her off at the intersection of Eames Street and Woburn Street. When she beeped, driver got out of vehicle and struck her car with his fist. Police notified Woburn Police. (3:35pm)
  • A walk-in party reported his vehicle was hit around 10am while parked in the Wilmington Plaza. (3:49pm)
  • Police received report of a dirt bike on the field at Yentile Farm. Bike was gone by the time police arrived. (4:05pm)
  • John A. Stone (39, Wilmington) was placed in protective custody after a Pacific Grove customer reported he was leaning against the building and appeared highly intoxicated. Dispatch contacted a nearby detox, but no beds were available. (6:15pm)
  • A black 2002 Toyota Camry struck a man on Woburn Street. No injury details. (7:12pm)
