POLICE LOG for December 9: Rollover On Chestnut St.; Car vs. Pole on Lawrence St.; Car Through Fence On Broad St.

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, December 9, 2017:

  • Police noticed a man standing next to Elia’s Country Store. Man had fallen asleep on the train and missed his stop. He’s waiting for an Uber to drive him to Wakefield. (1:00am)
  • Police issued 20 warnings to cars parked on Pouliot Place in violation of the winter overnight parking ban. (1:56am)
  • Police and Fire responded to a rollover of a black 2012 Toyota 4 Runner on Chestnut Street. Fire Department transported one individual to the hospital. Vehicle was towed. (11:24am)

  • A caller reported a black 2007 Audi drove through her fence on Broad Street. Operator and operator’s father was on scene to discuss restitution. (12:44pm)
  • A white 2003 Chevy Tahoe struck a pole and three mailboxes on Lawrence Street. No injuries noted. Pole was cracked. RMLD and Verizon notified. (1:43pm)
  • A plow driver reported two telephone poles were leaning in towards homes on First Avenue and Mystic Avenue. (11:53pm)
