WILMINGTON, MA — On Wednesday, December 20, from 11am to 1pm, the Wilmington Senior Center and Wilmington Police Department are conducting a medication take back event at the Center. Seniors are encouraged to drop off their old or unused prescription medication. Participants will receive a “thank you” gift certificate from the police department.
On Monday, December 18 at 1pm, the Wilmington Senior Center is holding its annual Holiday Cookie Swap, back by delicious demand. Seniors are encouraged to bake their favorite type of cookie and bring to share with the group. To sign up, stop by the Center’s Front Desk or call the Center at 978-657-7595.
On Monday, December 18, from 10:30am to noon, the Wilmington Senior Center will hold its monthly Caregivers Support Group meeting. The holidays can be an especially difficult time for caregivers, so if you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, you’re not alone!
