Warner chemist, educator, entrepreneur and one of the founders of the field of green chemistry, as he describes the impact of this discipline on the development of pharmaceuticals, personal care products, solar energy and construction and paving materials.  Green Chemistry focuses on a sustainable future with reduced impact on human health and the environment.

YA author, Grubstreet instructor, and Wilmington native Katie Bayerl leads a highly interactive, 90-minute creative writing workshop—sharing, experimenting, and exploring craft ideas through different modes. Grades 6-12

The library will be closed Friday, December 15 from 9 am to 1 pm for staff training. The library will be open 1 pm to 5 pm on Friday.
