POLICE LOG for November 29: A Few Interesting Calls; A Couple Of False Alarms; Reminder That Cemetery Closes At Dusk

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, November 29, 2017:

  • An employee at the Citgo Gas Station on Middlesex Avenue reported that a vehicle has been parked in its lot since Sunday. Employee will allow it to remain a bit longer to see if someone retrieves it, but requesting a tow. (10:09am)
  • A Murray Hill Circle caller reported the front of her mailbox was ripped off in the past 10 days. Caller wanted incident logged. May have been caused by a construction vehicle. (10:13am)
  • Police responded to a disturbance at Salvation Army. Manager reported customer was attempting to drop off furniture and was told he couldn’t due to the furniture not being in good condition. (10:30am)
  • A Clark Street resident reported their medication was stolen on November 23. (12:05pm)
  • Police was out with an individual walking on the train tracks between Lowell Street and Woburn Street. Individual was looking for a beaver dam in the area. (2:59pm)
  • Police was conducting a check of the cemetery and came across man playing Pokemon Go. He was advised of the cemetery’s hours (dawn to dusk) and sent on his way. (5:01pm)
  • A caller reported a Hispanic man was looking through bicycles on the bike rack in the MBTA parking lot.  He then took one and put it in his vehicle.  Police responded. Man was picking up his sister’s bike with her permission. Man had key. (5:15pm)
  • A caller reported a silver sedan in the Metro at Wilmington Station parking lot had fogged up windows and is shaking. Caller was concerned with activity possibly taking place in the vehicle. Police responded. A male and female were in the vehicle. Situation checked OK. (8:59pm)
  • A caller reported two males with flash lights were in the Wildwood Schools. No vehicles visible in lot. Public Buildings reported no one should be in the building. Police responded. Two public buildings vehicles were located in lot.  Town plumber was on scene. (9:08pm)
  • Police issued a summons for three larcenies that took place at Target. No further info provided. (10:09pm)
