Wilmington’s Tree Lighting will take place on Saturday, December 2, from 4:30pm to 6pm, on the Town Common.
It has been a 25 year tradition in Wilmington for the Chamber of Commerce to coordinate the ice sculpture demonstration/display, which is an integral part of the town’s holiday tree lighting celebration. The community loves gathering around and watching 1,000 lbs. of ice turn into a festive design. The Chamber is very excited this year to start the tradition in our Tewksbury community as well.
Not only has businesses in both towns seen the many benefits of our new bi-town Chamber of Commerce, this weekend the entire community will benefit from this new partnership.
The Chamber and the following 13 member businesses are sponsoring the two ice sculpture:
- Align Credit Union
- CareOne at Wilmington
- Enterprise Bank
- Heller Eyecare
- K1 Speed
- Lowell Five Bank
- Mark Kratman, Chair Tewksbury Board of Selectman
