WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, November 26, 2017:
- A caller reported a silver sedan struck a 25 MPH sign at Shawsheen Avenue and Aldrich Road. Sign snapped off. Police notified DPW. (9:24am)
- A Woburn Street caller reported an attempted break-in. Police responded and determined no break-in took place. Instead, vandalism or damage likely took place due to construction at the residence. (11:18am)
- Tewksbury Police reported that an ATV from Wilmington was riding on roadways in their town. Tewksbury and Wilmington Police spoke with driver’s parent. (12:24pm)
- A caller reported a hit and run at Bridge Lane and Main Street, near Sonic. Air deployed. No injuries noted. Police were unable to locate other involved vehicle. (1:41pm)
- A caller reported an erratic driver all over the road on Route 38 from Tewksbury. Driver reportedly drove over curb pulling into Cumberland Farms. Described as a blonde female in her 20’s. Police checked in on driver, who claimed she was having problems with her contacts. Situation checked OK. (3:31pm)
