POLICE LOG for November 27: Package Stolen From Doorstep; Car vs. Woman; 2 Summons Issued; Firearm Concerns

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, November 27, 2017:

  • Police noted two mailboxes on Woburn Street were knocked over. (3:34am)
  • State Police notified Fire Department of truck fire on Route 93, near Exit 40. (6:48am)
  • A caller reported yesterday their child reported two males believed to be friends of their neighbor were in the area with a firearm. Caller wanted the info logged. (10:52am)
  • Anthony R. Marcella (33, East Boston) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with revoked or suspended registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Marcella was pulled over on Lowell Street. (11:39am)
  • Police issued 8 parking citations in the MBTA parking lot on Main Street. (12:42pm)
  • An Avalon Drive caller reported his package was stolen from his doorstep. (1:43pm)
  • Police advised hunter that hunting is not allowed on town-owned land. Incident took place near Exit 38 on Route 93 South. (2:00pm)
  • A caller reported his wife was struck by their neighbor’s car. Fire Department transported woman to Winchester Hospital. (3:06pm)
  • Lori A. Laquidara (40, Chelmsford) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with revoked or suspended license and no or expired inspection sticker. (6:11pm)
  • Walk-in party reported his wallet was stolen from a Dunkin Donuts on Main Street. (10:04pm)
