GoFundMe Page Established To Help Wilmington Woman Living With Rare Medical Condition

[EDITOR’s NOTE: This post was shared four months ago.  Fundraising shortly stopped thereafter because the insurance company decided to fund Arianna’s medications afterall. Unfortunately, the insurance company has since reversed course and recently decided to drop her medication coverage. Arianna will be paying out of pocket beginning in approximately three weeks.]

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington resident Arianna Faro lives with Klippel Trenaunay Syndrome, a rare medical condition for which she’s been hospitalized more than 120 times, including several near-death experiences.

Arianna’s doctors hopes to treat her condition with chemotherapy medications, but her insurance company will not cover them.  As a result, she has created a GoFundMe page, asking for family, friends and strangers alike to consider making a donation.
