Happening Today:

  • Weather: Rain and thunderstorms are likely in Wilmington. Patchy fog after 9am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 74. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Happy Columbus Day! Town offices, schools, library, and senior center are closed today, as are banks and the post office. Retail stores are open at the owner’s discretion.  Market Basket, Lucci’s, and Elia’s Country Store are open.
  • Trash & Recycling Delayed: Wilmington’s residential trash and recycling collection will be delayed this week by one day due to the holiday.
