POLICE LOG for September 22: Chelsea Man Arrested; Lawrence Man Issued Summons; Crash At Glen & Middlesex

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, September 22, 2017:

  • Joel Morales Lopez (24, Lawrence) was issued a summons for the Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Speeding in Violation of Special Regulations Posted. Lopez was pulled over near Uptown Deli on Middlesex Avenue. (6:48am)
  • 9 citations were issued for unregistered dogs. (12:35pm)
  • Robert Guerra-Taylor (37, Chelsea) was arrested on a warrant. Guerra-Taylor allegedly took off in a company vehicle after being laid off from Modern Electric on Main Street. Police located the him and the vehicle on Lowell Street. (4:57pm)
  • MBTA requested police check for teenage boy loitering on the tracks on Woburn Street. (4:58pm)
  • A 3-vehicle crash took place at Glen Road and Middlesex Avenue. A black 2012 jeep Liberty rear-ended a black 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, which then collided with a white 2015 Kia Optima. (5:34pm)
