WILMINGTON, MA — Roy T. Arnold, age 96, a longtime Wilmington resident, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2017.
Beloved husband of the late Grace K. (Orrell). Devoted father of Keith Arnold of Orleans, Bruce Arnold of Duxbury, Lyn French of Ontario and FL, Alison Corcoran of Haverhill, Leslie Cone of FL, Thomas Arnold of Saco, ME, Barbara Garofano of Westminster. Also survived by 14 loving grandchildren and 19 loving great grandchildren. Grandfather of the late Sean P. Cone. Brother of the late Bernice Canty.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 26th, at 12 p.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with military honors and burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Late U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of WWII. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Roy’s memory to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130 or Middlesex-East Visiting Nurse Hospice c/o Development Office, 800 W Cummings Park, Suite 5000, Woburn, MA 01801.
