WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Thursday, September 21, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly cloudy in Wilmington, with a high near 73. Breezy, with a north wind 13 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.
#2) The Wilmington Elderly Services Commission meets at 1:30pm at the Wilmington Senior Center. Read the agenda HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission meets at 5:30pm at Wilmington Town Hall in Room 9. Read the agenda HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) and the school district’s Office of Student Support Services are holding an Open House at 6:30pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room. Parents are invited to meet the district’s new Director of Student Support Services Alice Brown-Legrand and Coordinator of Behavioral Health & Social Emotional Support Christine Murray. Come learn what the Office of Student Support Services and the Wilmington SEPAC have to offer.
#5) The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive from 10am to 3pm at OSRAM Lighting Solutions (200 Ballardvale Street). Walk-ins are welcome.
#6) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding FIVE programs today:
