Marie was raised in the “family compound” on Jones Ave. and Faulkner Ave. along with her siblings and a huge extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins; they were a tight knit family. Marie married “the love of her life” Leo O’Connell in 1947 and together they raised a large family of their own. Marie and Leo spend over 40 years together and had many wonderful times with their family and friends before his untimely passing in February of 1991.

In her spare time, Marie loved to read and do puzzles; she looked forward to her trips to Lake Winnepesaukee and riding the Mount Washington. Marie was a self proclaimed avid Red Sox and Patriots fan who enjoyed watching or taking in a game with her family.
