Abundant Life Is Collecting Gently Used Clothes & More To Support The Needy

WILMINGTON, MA — The Abundant Life Church (173 Church Street) has teamed up with St. Pauly Textile Inc. to provide a clean, well-monitored place to donate gently used textile items, which are then distributed to needy people both here in the U.S. and to over 40 other countries.

St. Pauly Textile, Inc., was founded 21 years ago in Rochester, NY and is an A_+ rated member of the Better Business Bureau. It collects over 90,000 pounds of clothing every day.

In 2016, the company was able to keep over 16.5 million articles of clothing out of landfills.

The only items accepted are clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, drapes, linens, pillowcases, and stuffed animals.

Contributors are asked to donate items in a plastic bag to protect against dirt and the elements. There is a small box on the shed that contains receipts for tax deductions. The Church is located next to Wilmington High School.
